Barcelona:
Parc Guell-
Hung out at Parc Guell with some folks I met at the Hostel and saw a lot of Gaudi's work. Eusebi Guell was a rich aristocrat and Gaudi's largest benefactor. Initially the Parc was designed to an aristocratic community but ended up failing due to lack of interest. The Parc was then left to be pretty much Gaudi's playground for inspired artwork.

Las Ramblas & Gaudi Walking Tour:
Strolled around Las Ramblas (Barca's main drag) before embarking on the Gaudi walking tour and stopped in at St. Joseph's Market. I saw a lot of Gaudi designed buildings during this tour as well as his first publicly commissioned piece(s) of work which were actually lampposts in Placa de Reial.
Gaudi's First Public Wokr(s): A Lampost. I guess we all have to start somewhere.
A Gaudi designed building. The balconies were meant to resembles skulls and the pillars on the first balcony; femur bones.
