Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and is looking forward to the Holiday Season. I was fortunate to celebrate Thanksgiving at a National Park with some folks I met along my travels but, trust me, I would have rather been stuffing my face with Turkey and falling into a Tryptophan induced coma. Currently in Singapore and heading to Tokyo on Tuesday.
As always, enjoy and feel free to drop me a note.

I guess we all know what this kid wants for Christmas:
Pretty cool piece I came across in a metal worker's shop in Phucket:
Tour of Khao Sok National Park -
Khao Sok National Park is basically a handful of floating villages built on a massive lake. It is a fairly remote location; most "villages" have electricity for only a few hours a day and forget about any WiFi. Honestly it felt pretty liberating to be ridden of those things for a few days. The park consists of huge limestone rock formations the stick out of the water. Truly breathtaking when you see the size of these formations; imagine the Lord of the Rings or Avatar movies. During our 3 days 2 nights, we took part in some cave tours, kayaking as well as some Thai karaoke with some of workers of the village. Quite a change of pace compared to the rest of Thailand; highly recommended

Phi Phi Island: Hung out on Phi Phi for a few days. Very touristy but you can see why after the beautiful beach, smaller surrounding islands and party scene. Recommended if you want to party but if you want a slower, more relaxed pace hit up Koh Lanta Island instead; both places provide "buckets" to drink if that's a deciding factor. (Send me a note if you want to know what one is...)
On the way out to Maya Bay (where the movie The Beach was filmed):
