The last 2 weeks have been a bit hectic for me on the "road" but all is going well. After 10 days in Budapest, I met Joleen in Mykonos and we were stranded due to the labor strikes in Greece for a few extra days (I know, let's not all cry at once). Our following destination, Turkey, had an earthquake just before heading there and Thailand (where I plan to visit after Turkey) appears to be having some serious flood issues... I sure know how to pick destinations. Meanwhile, I am reading that things are bit off kilter back home with Earthquakes and the Occupy Wall Street protests. Aside from that, the Cardinals just won the World Series, no NBA until at least December, the Colts can't win a game and how 'bout them Niners!!!
Enjoy.

Gellert Hill: Gellert came to Budapest to spread Christianity. At some point Hungarians got tired of him, put him in a barrell with 1,000 nails and rolled him down this hill into the Danube River. True story... look it up.

Esphesus - Ephesus was once a great Greek City and then a Great Roman City. Under Roman Rule, it was the second largest City o the Roman Empire, after Rome. Aside from the many ruins that were covered during a large earthquake in 614 A.D., it houses the site where it is said the Virgin Mary spent her last days.
